Galilion Hotel

This accessibility review is based on our stay in 2020.

Parking – Several accessible parking spaces are available close to the entrance.

Room – The wheelchair-accessible room we stayed in was conveniently located on the ground floor by the pool and was spacious enough to navigate in a wheelchair, although not without flaws. The furniture arrangements prevented me from accessing the outside terrace, and we had to move the couch to allow enough space for my wheelchair. The bed wasn’t raised if you need to use a hoist.

Bathroom – The bathroom had a roll-in shower, a shower chair, a roll-under sink, and grab bars everywhere. The hair dryer and towel rack were too high and out of reach for a wheelchair user.

The public areas – The outside paths and the dining area were smooth and easy to roll on.

The pool – the pool had a lift.

Overall, a good accessible experience, with a few small details overlooked.
